The Hazardous Communication Standard which was revised by OSHA to align with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals has reached the final compliance deadline.
Midwest Environmental Services is aware of the June 1, 2016 date employers should be fully compliant with the revised standards. That includes making any necessary updates to their HazCom program, training employees on any newly identified chemical hazards, and updating safety data sheets libraries and secondary labels.
